Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) is always being overlooked by junior part-time workers, and it is worth noting the importance of consolidating your MPF personal accounts to accumulate wealth. It is noted that if we have a lot of non-sorted MPF accounts, we will receive a lot of letters and documents from our MPF trustees, making it difficult to handle. As a result, we may leave them unattended and forget the amount of money, the funds invested and even the number of MPF accounts we have. Therefore, it is of paramount importance to manage our MPF accounts from time to time, especially for young adults engaging in a host of part-time jobs so that they can ensure financial independence in late-adulthood stages.
